Gwendolyn is... a natural. Unlike her mutant kin, she has not had them handed to her. Or, to put it a different way, every skill she has, she has honed from experience. One of the heirs of her family's (ill) fortune, Gwendolyn is in Paragon to prove herself. Despite a minor depth perception problem (she's nearsighted), and vastly shorter than most of her kin, she is determined to equal or best all her kin. ("Ruathar" means "ready to strike" in Gaelic) She is the Primal dimension's version of Myred and Childe; where Myred chose technology to enhance her talents, Gwendolyn chooses to perfect her training.
